Will an inverter generator run a refrigerator?

Yes! An inverter generator can run a refrigerator, whether you're out camping or keeping food chilled in a power outage. Some of our customers have run multiple fridges simultaneously using the Redback RB4.5!

How many hours can you run an inverter generator?

It generally varies depending on the generator's capacity. The Redback RB4.5 has a 5.5L fuel tank that provides over 6 hours of run time, while the smaller Redback RB3.5 has a 3.7L fuel tank that provides over 5 hours of continuous run time.

How should I transport my generator?

Your inverter generator should be transported in an upright position. Do not lay it on its side. Before transport, close the fuel valve, make sure the bolts are securely tightened, and disconnect its eventual starter battery (If you have the RB4.5).
