Your inverter generator should be transported in an upright position. Do not lay it on its side. Before transport, close the fuel valve, make sure the bolts are securely tightened, and disconnect its eventual starter battery (If you have the RB4.5). To prevent it from starting accidentally, disconnect the spark plug wire and move it out of contact with the spark plug.
