The countdown on my iTECH2000A cuts off prematurelyUpdated 3 months ago

The premature cutoff of the countdown on your iTECH2000A generally indicates an issue with the vehicle's battery. If your battery has developed a lot of internal resistance, it may prematurely stop the countdown on the iTECH2000A smart clamps.

To override this, you must use the iTECH2000A's continuous power mode. Please follow the steps below:

Note: If the vehicle's battery is faulty, the iTECH2000A may not start the vehicle.

1. Connect the jump starter clamps to the iTECH2000A jump starter.

2. Connect the positive clamp to the cranking battery's positive terminal, followed by the negative clamp to the negative terminal.

3. Press and hold the jump start button on the clamps' side. After a few seconds, the countdown timer will start.

4. Once the countdown timer has started, press and hold the jump-start button again until the clamps beep twice. The display will change from the countdown timer to the temperature display. A small 'on' symbol will flash at the top right of the temperature display. Once in this mode, turn the key and start the vehicle.
