My panel isn't producing enough ampsUpdated 3 months ago

Several variables could impact your solar panel's performance. They are listed below:

- Ensure you are using cables rated for the maximum output of your solar panel and making solid connections.

- Ensure your panel is angled directly at the sun as often as possible.

- Ensure no panel parts are covered by shade (trees, buildings, roof racks, etc.)

If your panel does not receive direct sunlight, you will not receive any input. This is especially true when there is intermittent cloud cover.

- Ensure there is an MPPT/solar controller between the panel and your battery to regulate solar input (this does not apply if you are charging an iTechworld power station or through an iTechworld DCDC charger as they have regulators built into them.

- Ensure that your panels aren't covered in debris, such as dirt, leaves, and dust, during use and storage. Debris obstructs sunlight and, if abrasive, damages the panel.

- Ensure any in-line fuses, circuit breakers, or relays are intact and have solid connections. To check for power loss, measure the wattage on either side of these protections.
