My charger isn't outputting its rated ampsUpdated 3 months ago

Please work through the following troubleshooting steps:

- Check your battery voltage. If it is above 85% (13.1v for a lithium battery), the number of amps feeding into the battery will decrease. Lower your battery's voltage to below 85% and reconnect the charger. You should see a higher amp output now that there is more space for that incoming charge.

- Ensure you use the cabling provided with this charger. If you use other cabling that is not rated for the charger's amp output, then the charger won't output the full amount.
- Ensure that any fuses, relays or circuit breakers in between the battery and charger are intact. If they are, measure the cabling on either side with a clamp meter/in-line wattmeter to compare results and check for a drop in current.
