Can I charge with my solar panels partially shaded?Updated 3 months ago

Any cells of a solar panel that are in the shade will not output power. A solar panel equipped with a bypass diode ensures that if a cell is in the shade and thus not providing any power, the rest of the panel will continue to operate as normal. A solar panel lacking a bypass diode will lose all power when partially shaded. Please keep in mind that the output from a partially shaded panel will decline dramatically.
